The Thin Blue Line Flag is a simple yet powerful testament to Law Enforcement Officers. This symbol, in commemoration of our fallen police, is annually projected into the Washington D.C. sky to honor these heroes. The Blue represents the officer and the courage they find deep inside when faced with insurmountable odds. The Black background was designed as a constant reminder of our fallen brother and sister officers. The Line is what police officers protect, the barrier between anarchy and a civilized society, between order and chaos, between respect for decency and lawlessness. Blue star service flag are flown to represent a family member currently serving during any period of war or hostilities the United States may be engaged in for the duration of such hostilities.
GOLD STAR SERVICE FLAG
Gold star service flag are flown to represent a family member of a person in the Armed Forces who has been killed in military action defending our country.
